A statically generated site built with Gatsby/Next.js and a headless CMS (Contentful). It features a custom-built design system with a perfect Lighthouse performance score, achieved through aggressive image optimization and minimal JavaScript.
The Challenge
The challenge was aesthetic balance. The client needed to appear both creative and corporate. I had to design a UI that walked this fine line, using typography, whitespace, and a muted color palette to signal professionalism without boring the visitor or feeling generic.
The Solution
A completely custom design system was built from the ground up to match the client's personal brand. No pre-made CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Material UI were used for the core layout, ensuring a 100% unique visual signature that perfectly captured the desired professional-yet-creative tone.
