The Challenge
Designing and building this website to serve as both a personal hub and a production-grade demonstration platform. The primary challenge was migrating my digital footprint from a previous domain without losing SEO authority, while maintaining elite Lighthouse performance (98-100) and smooth micro-animations while loading dynamic project databases, blog engines, and secure contact tracking workflows.
The Solution
I built this site using Next.js 16 (App Router) and Firebase. By leveraging static regeneration, edge-cached content paths, custom CSS layouts (shifting away from heavy framework utilities), and fine-tuned asset optimization, I achieved near-instant load speeds. I implemented a robust 301 redirect strategy to preserve legacy search value, Zero Trust Firestore security rules, and dynamic SEO mapping for all paths.
