2025: The Last Commit
2025: The Last Commit
It is New Year's Eve. The notifications have slowed down. The Pull Requests are merged. The deployments are stable.
In the software world, I often live in the future—planning the next sprint, designing the next roadmap, worrying about the next version. But tonight, for just a moment, I want to look at the current branch.
2025 was the Year of Action.
I launched the User Dashboard, giving clients unprecedented transparency. I deployed the first wave of Autonomous Agents that are now managing workflows silently in the background. I transformed g-makris.com from a portfolio into a platform.
The Human Constant
Yet, amidst all this automation and velocity, the most valuable lesson of 2025 wasn't technical. It was human.
The best code didn't come from an AI prompt; it came from deep conversations with clients about their pain points. The most successful features weren't the flashiest ones; they were the ones that gave people back their time.
Technology is the tool. But empathy is still the architect.
Shutting Down (Briefly)
As the clock ticks toward midnight, I am pushing the final commit for 2025.
To my clients, partners, and every user who visited this site: Thank you. You are the reason the code compiles.
The servers will keep running tonight, but I'll be taking a moment to celebrate. Tomorrow morning, I start a new chapter. The groundwork is laid. The agents are ready. 2026 is going to be something special.
Have a wonderful New Year's Eve.
Best,

The 2026 Roadmap goes live tomorrow morning. Stay tuned.
Tech Glossary & Concepts
- Commit: A "save point" in software development. When you finish a piece of code, you "commit" it to the version history.
- Pull Request (PR): A request to merge new code changes into the main project. It's a way for developers to review each other's work before it goes live.
- Velocity: A metric used in Agile development to measure how much work a team can successfully complete in a given time period (usually a "sprint").
