An advanced AI system featuring a multi-stage data processing pipeline. It uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) models to extract and structure data from unstructured documents like PDF resumes, making it analyzable by a Large Language Model.
The Challenge
The vision was to create an AI that could 'read between the lines.' The main technical challenge was translating unstructured inputs—like a messy, multi-column PDF resume—into structured, normalized JSON data that the AI could analyze effectively and consistently.
The Solution
I developed a multi-stage data processing pipeline. First, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is used to extract raw text from the PDF. Then, a series of Natural Language Processing (NLP) models identify and tag entities like 'Job Title', 'Company', 'Dates', and 'Skills'. This structured data is then passed to the main LLM for analysis and recommendations.
