What's New in Version 1.5
This release is dedicated to making the website faster, more stable, and more professional. Based on performance audits and feedback, I've implemented several key improvements.
- Performance Overhaul: To address Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) and improve overall speed, I have completely replaced the
framer-motionanimation library with lightweight, performant CSS animations. This results in a smoother, faster experience with fewer layout shifts. - Favicon & Brand Restoration: All custom 'GM' favicons and the web manifest have been restored and correctly linked. This ensures a consistent brand identity in browser tabs, on mobile home screens, and when sharing links.
- Bug Squashing:
- Build Errors: Resolved critical build errors caused by leftover dependencies after the animation library was removed.
- Sitemap Cleanup: Fixed a 'Page with redirect' error reported by Google Search Console by removing the old
/sitemappage and standardizing all links to point to the correct/help/sitemapURL. - Light Theme Polish: Conducted a full review of the light theme, improving color contrasts and component styles for a beautiful and readable experience.
