Madrid, a major European financial and tech hub, offered an opportunity to scale my skills and work on international projects. Both cities have a growing FinTech ecosystem. My background in Greek banking provided a solid understanding of financial principles, which was invaluable when I transitioned to FinTech roles in Madrid. The challenges are universal—compliance, security, user trust—but the approaches and technologies can differ, providing a rich learning experience.

Beyond the code, embracing a new culture has been the most rewarding part. Learning Spanish, understanding new ways of working, and building a professional network in a new country has broadened my perspective immensely.
